Sunset in the Madera Canyon fields, a darling couple we have known for many years, and a whole lot of love came together to create this magic. For us, it’s something as simple as the way you hold hands and the affection for your furry children (Tank and Snow stole the show). There is never the perfect time to photograph your story, however this felt like the right time. Simply love what we do and especially who we do it with. The only thing we ask is to be there, fully present with us in that moment. Leave the rest up to us. Emily and Lucas did just that. Photographing this couple makes us want to photograph more couples (hard not to vibe with their humble, delightful energy).

“I’ve known the Fletchers for about eight years now. I’ve been dreaming about investing in portraits from them for a while and now it was finally the time for my little family. I have seen the art they have captured with other families so it was such a surreal feeling during the whole session. From the moment we started planning to the day of, Casia and Eric made every step feel so easy and I was so relieved and astounded with how much effort and love they put in. When I look at these photos I feel so much emotion. Every photo is so special to my husband and I. Between the tiny details to our dogs Tank and Snow. I’m going to look back and remember how beautiful this time was being with the people I love. I can’t help getting emotional writing this because I am so thankful to have my own pieces to remember this year by. A rough one for my family ending with peace and positivity.
