Springtime lovin’ right here! At-home portraits are extra special because we get to tell your family’s story and capture what is unique to your lives. Personalizing your photographs is our number one goal. In the month leading up to the Reece-Blum family’s session, we began to plan areas that would work well with the time of day we would be photographing along with wardrobe guidance. Collaborating together we decided their front porch would be prime and soft earth-toned clothing would look incredible with their desert oasis property. The Go Gently Nation prairie dress their daughter wore was beyond precious (especially while feeding their chickens, yes there were chickens!!!) and their son’s simple tee coordinated perfectly because they were both from the same spring collection. Last year’s session was in an urban setting. The tones were more saturated yet still a cohesive palette.
