It was a weekend filled with laughter, love and lots of guessing on what we had planned (she’s always trying to guess and it’s getting harder to keep these surprises). We celebrated in our backyard with her bestie, favorite snacks, a piñata and then an evening at our special local dinner place. She’s already hinting at what she wants for her 10th – a furry friend. Which we have been talking about for years and it’s almost time. We can not wait for those new memories and photographs.

For now we are happily soaking up these single digit milestones with our Super Nova Mae who can text us from her new watch. It is wild yet mind-blowing to receive that ‘I love you’ message.
